I have just heard learned that the version of Irving Berlin's Blue Skies that I sang for Killian Mansfield's CD, Somewhere Else, is today's Song of the Day on NPR. You can go to NPR to hear the song, and to share comments. Please take a moment to do so - the more activity the piece gets, the longer it stays on the front page, with Killian's picture!
Love it, love it, and did I say--"Love it!" The link is on its way to my friends. I know your life was enriched by your relationship with Killian, and mine has now been enriched by learning his story and listening to his music. May he rest in peace. Thank you, Laurel.

Very nice version. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. I only just read the post, so I wasn't able to comment on the NPR site as the comments are now closed. Thanks for sharing this. I love the song (who doesn't love Irving Berlin?) and this is a very fine and delightful version indeed. Just what the doctor ordered on a cold Canadian winter day (with a wonderful blue sky in view).
