Cat's eye view

If I was living in a tall building up here in my part of the Bronx (where this photo was taken), and if I had taped my windows, this is exactly what things would have looked like in my apartment last night. Or what they would have looked like if Mrs. Peel would go anywhere the windows, which she has declined to do since yesterday. Too much rain clattering on the glass, too many trees rocking back and forth and flailing their limbs. Decidedly not her cuppa tea.

So really, this photo is not much like what we have been experiencing. But isn't it a lovely shot?

That is a good picture. It has the appropriate feeling of menace.
