Medea

A princess, yes, and children, yes, but not in a Disney way...

The performance opens with Hymn to the Muse, an ancient Greek song I recorded in 1999 for my Feather and Bone CD. Though there are older song fragments, this is perhaps the oldest complete piece we have in western musical tradition. I'll be singing it live, and then carrying on as The Nurse (also not in a DIsney way). Bram Lewis has created a powerful adaptation - do come if you can.
